Assam: Coronavirus awareness campaign at Hojai

In the wake of coronavirus pandemic across the globe, an awareness campaign was jointly organized in Assam’s Hojai on Monday.

The awareness campaign was organized by ‘Small Steps’ (for better future), Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and Colour’s Art Academy at Lanka railway station under Hojai district on Monday.

In this awareness drive pamphlets were distributed among the travellers.

Dr Prodip Kumar Sahoo, independent researcher delivered speech in detail about the disaster, the contagious virus that causes respiratory infection and can transfer from human to human.

He focused mainly about the dos and don’ts to prevent the spread of the virus.

He requested everyone to keep safe them and also to spread the message to others to keep safe by implementing the dos and don’ts.

In this camp Rajkumar Pandey, Sikhajyoti Handique among other active members of IRCS were present.

Hemanta Kumar Sahu, a renowned visual artist and active member of Small Steps was also present.

All of them displayed placards on important messages about coronavirus.

Everyone requested to act together and also urged to follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan “Prepare but do not be panic” for safe life.
