Arunachal Pradesh has registered 151 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s tally to 5,961.
According to the latest data, shared by the directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, the new positive cases have been detected in 17 districts.
Of the new cases, 64 cases have been reported from the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR).
The health department informed that while 132 of the infected patients are asymptomatic,
19 patients are symptomatic.
Meanwhile, 128 other patients have been discharged in 11 districts after their recovery from the disease.
A total of 49 patints have been discharged from Itanagar Capital region while 33 other patints have been discharged from Tirap district.
The recovery rate stands at 70.34%.
Arunachal Pradesh currently has 1698 active patients.
The positivity rate stands at 28.66%.
With the death of one more positive patient due to COVID19 infection on Saturday, the disease has claimed a total of 10 persons in the state.
The death rate stands at 0.16%.
