Earlier, an airport official, who went to Mumbai from Gujarat, tested positive for COVID19.
The 74-year-old man, who died of the disease, was admitted to the hospital when he complained of pneumonia. He reportedly did not respond to the treatment and later breathed his last.
After his death on Thursday, a test confirmed that he was infected with COVID19.
The man was hailing from Khairatabad in Hyderabad.
The authorities have traced the contacts of the deceased and they have also been kept in isolation, said Eatala Rajender.
