At least 23 people died in Norway after receiving the Pfizer’s vaccine against COVID-19.
This was confirmed by the Norwegian Medicines Agency.
All the 23 deaths were recorded among elderly people over the age of 80 years and those with weak immunity.
So far, 13 of these have been assessed and found to be directly linked to the COVID-19 vaccine side-effects.
“These cases are not alarming. It is clear that this vaccine has a very small risk factor, with few exceptions when it comes to elderly patients who suffer from poor health,” Norwegian channel – RK quoted the Norwegian Medicines Agency’s spokesman Steinar Madsen as saying.
Following the deaths the Norwegian Institute of Public Health has reportedly issued caution against vaccinating the elderly people above 80 years.
Recently, a healthy Miami doctor died barely 3 weeks after receiving the Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine shot.

Earlier also, two patients – a Swiss national and an Israeli died just hours after being administered Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine shots.
Norway launched a mass vaccination campaign by the end of December 2020, with the aged citizens, including those over the age of 85, and health workers being offered vaccination first.
The country has also launched a detailed investigation into the reported fatalities that has shocked the world.
Meanwhile, China has called on Norway and other countries to suspend the use of Pfizer’s mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine.
