Guwahati: On Friday evening, a minor girl was reportedly arrested by the police from the Chachal area of Guwahati, Assam for allegedly murdering her mother.
The minor has been accused of murdering her 40-year-old mother.

The incident occurred at the family’s apartment at around 7:30 pm.
The accused is a tennis player and is the daughter of a well-known tennis coach.

She allegedly hit her mother with a “mortar pestle” following some argument that they had been having.
However, she claimed that she did not intentionally hit her, reports stated.
The altercation began after her father left for some work.
The accused reportedly repeatedly struck her mother with the pestle.
