Guwahati: An alleged interstate vehicle trafficking racket was busted by the police in Guwahati, Assam on Saturday.
As per reports, the gang was nabbed from the Hatigaon area of Guwahati, Assam.
The gang allegedly took vehicles on lease and rent from individuals promising them rent periodically.

However, the gang allegedly took these vehicles to Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh without letting the original owners know.
They then would allegedly sell these vehicles to their contacts in these states.
The police based on inputs arrested four suspects including one woman.
The accused were identified as Amit Gupta from Sadiya, along with Jiyabur Rahman and Manish Chetri, both residents of Guwahati.
The woman arrested along with these three was a resident of Charaedeo district.
Further, investigation is being carried out by the police.
