Guwahati: All IndiGo flight operations at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati will be shifted to Terminal 2 (New Terminal) from 12:01 am on July 20, 2026.
Following the transition, all IndiGo arrivals and departures will be handled from Terminal 2, which has been developed to provide improved passenger facilities, operational efficiency and enhanced travel experience.
The new integrated terminal features a bamboo-themed design inspired by Assam’s cultural heritage and incorporates modern infrastructure and sustainable design elements. The terminal has also received international recognition for its architectural design.
Passengers travelling on IndiGo flights from July 20 onwards have been advised to directly visit Terminal 2 for check-in, security screening and boarding.
LGBIA authorities have arranged passenger assistance measures, including signages, information displays and on-ground support to help travellers during the transition.
The shift of IndiGo operations is part of the phased operationalisation of the new terminal at Guwahati Airport, aimed at improving connectivity and passenger services.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight details with IndiGo before travelling and reach the airport well in advance of their scheduled departure time.
