Guwahati: A police team arrested a couple from the Jalukbari area in Guwahati, Assam on suspicion of being involved in drug peddling.
As per reports, the arrested duo was married and had been involved in drug peddling for several days.

The Special Operation Group of the Assam Police had inputs about the couple and based on the input, the couple was raided and arrested with suspected drugs (heroin).

The accused were identified as Saddam Hussain and his wife.

The police said they also seized a motorcycle from the couple’s possession.

The two allegedly had been operating near the Jalukbari area.
They are being to trace their associates and the source where they buy the alleged drugs from.
