Coal Meghalaya: FIR against illegal coal transport in WKH Assam: 48 gutkha-laden trucks seized in Guwahati

Guwahati: The GST Commissionerate reportedly seized 48 trucks carrying gutkha from Delhi on the outskirts of Guwahati, Assam.

The consignment on the trucks, valued at several crores of rupees, was transported via train without necessary documentation, indicating illicit trade practices.

The raid, conducted over two days, resulted in the seizure of the trucks at Mirza Railway Station in Kamrup district.

Currently, the vehicles are being held at the Kar Bhawan in Ganeshguri.
