Assam: Rhino injures man in Biswanath

One Rajib Saikia was severely injured in a rhino attack at Bahbari village under Bihali legislative constituency in Biswanath district on Friday morning.

The wild rhino attacked the victim when he went to free the cattle in the field behind his house in the morning.

Later, the injured was admitted to the Borgang Model Hospital.

As per reports, the rhino has been meandering in the village for the past few days.

Locals alleged that the forest department has not taken any initiative to net the rhino.
