Miao: A rare and exciting sighting has occurred in the Namdapha National Park & Tiger Reserve (NNP&TR) in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district. After a year-long absence from camera traps, a tiger has been successfully captured on film.

This is the first time a tiger has been documented in the NNP&TR since April, when a park staffer had a fleeting encounter with the elusive big cat along the Miao-Vijaynagar road.

The sighting has delighted park officials and conservationists alike. “This remarkable discovery is a testament to the unwavering efforts made to protect and conserve the region’s biodiversity,” said NNP&TR Director VK Jawal.

Jawal emphasized that these camera trap images not only showcase the park’s incredible wildlife but also reaffirm the park authorities’ commitment to preserving their natural habitat.
