The wait is finally over as Jatin BoraNishita GoswamiBarsha Rani Bishaya starrer Assamese feature film ‘Ratnakar’ is set to hit the silver screen on Friday.

On the final day of promotion on Thursday, the team Ratnakar appealed each and everyone to visit the theatres and watch the movie.

To be released all over Assam and also in Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru the trailer of the movie has already created a buzz among the cine-goers.

On Thursday, a bike rally with 250 motorbikes was taken out from Kamakhya Temple to Chandmari playground.

With 176 shows slotted for it, ‘Ratnakar’ is touted to be the next big thing after Zubeen Garg’s ‘Kanchanjangha’ this year.

‘Kanchanjangha’ has already gone on to become the biggest Assamese blockbuster ever minting over Rs 5.6 crores so far.

Two songs from ‘Ratnakar’-‘Rati Rat’ and ‘Eta Kotha Kowa Na’ have already become popular among the people and Youtube views for both the songs have crossed 6.1 million and 5.9 million respectively.

‘Ratnakar’ is Jatin Bora’s second directorial venture after ‘Adhinayak’.

Apart from the three leading actors, the movie also stars Bishnu Kharghoriya, Chetana das, Sanjeev Hazarika, and Hiranya Deka among others.

Zubeen Garg has composed the songs for the movie and popular dramatist Abhijeet Bhattacharya has written the story and script of the movie.

Those associated with the movie are expecting ‘Ratnakar’ to strike a chord with the audience and give ‘Kanchanjangha’ a stiff competition.
