A complaint has been filed against Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchanโ€™s for one of the questions asked during Fridayโ€™s Karamveer special episode of his game show โ€˜Kaun Banega Crorepati 12โ€™.

As per reports, an FIR has been filed against the veteran actor and the show makers for โ€œhurting Hindu sentimentsโ€ in Lucknow.

The episode had social activist Bezwada Wilson and actor Anup Soni on the hot seat opposite Big B and the question was worth Rs 6, 40,000.

Amitabh Bachchan asked a question related to Manusmirti in the Karamveer episode.

The question for Rs 6,40,000 was, On 25 December 1927, Dr. BR Ambedkar and his followers burned copies of which scripture? The options given were, a) Vishnu Purana, b) Bhagavad Gita, c) Rigdev, and d) Manusmriti.

The answer to the question is Manusmriti and after announcing it, Amitabh Bachchan said in Hindi that In 1927, Dr BR Ambedkar condemned the ancient Hindu text Manusmriti and also burned copies of it.
