Haflong girl Rewati Chetri to make her Bollywood debut

Actress and model Rewati Chetri, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Khatoon. The film will depict the love story of a valiant 1962 Indo-China war, Indian soldier.

The protagonist will be played by Santosh Shukla of Jai Ho fame who is also making his debut in Bollywood. The lovely rewati chetri, who hails from Haflong will play his love interest in the film.

In the past, she has participated in Femina Miss India 2015 where she was a finalist. She has also been crowned Miss Asia at the World Miss University 2016 pageant, held in Beijing.

The film is being produced by Anita and Utkarsh Agarwal, and the story is set when Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) was in possession of China. The film is being directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma. It will release in 2018.
