Airtel launches Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition plans in India

Airtel launches Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition plans in India

Indian telecom giant Airtel and Amazon have joined hands to launch Prime Video Mobile Edition – a mobile-only plan in India.

The plan has been launched at introductory price of only Rs 89.

It is a single-user mobile-only plan that allows Airtel users to stream Amazon Prime videos in SD quality.

With the launch India has become the first country in the world where Amazon has put on offer to customers a mobile-only Prime Video plan.

Airtel customers on bundled prepaid plans can avail a 30-day free trial by just signing up to Amazon from the Airtel Thanks app using their mobile number.

After the 30-day free trial, if Airtel customers wish to continue, then they will have to do a recharge of Rs 89.

This Prime Video Mobile Edition prepaid plan will give 6GB of total data, and access to Amazon Prime Video for 28 days.

There is also a Rs 299 prepaid recharge plan, which offers unlimited voice calling benefits, 1.5GB data per day and access to Amazon Prime Video.

It comes with a validity period of 28 days.

The recharges will be available on the Airtel Thanks app or at recharge points across the country.

Airtel users can watch Prime Video on their mobile by choosing from a wide range of pre-paid bundles

  • ?89 recharge: Prime Video Mobile Edition for 28 days and 6GB data.
  • ?299 pre-paid bundle: Prime Video Mobile Edition, unlimited calling, 1.5 GB per day, for 28 days
  • ?131 recharge: Amazon Prime membership for 30 days with full Prime Video access,free fast delivery and unlimited ad-free music and other Prime benefits.
  • ?349 pre-paid bundle: Amazon Prime membership with full Prime Video access, free fast delivery and unlimited ad-free music and other Prime benefits along with unlimited calling and 2GB per day for 28 days
