Tripura Governor inaugurates annual fest of ICFAI University.

Guwahati: The annual techno-cultural programme of the ICFAI University Tripura “ICARIA-2K24” was inaugurated by the Honourable Governor of Tripura, Nallu Indrasena Reddy as Chief Guest on Wednesday at ICFAI University Tripura Campus.

The ONGC Tripura Asset Manager Krisha Kumar was the Special Guest of the inauguration programme.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Biplab Halder delivered the inaugural welcome address and gave a detailed speech about the ICARIA event.

He also informed that the University will mark two decades of excellence, celebrating 20 years of dedication to academic and professional advancement in Tripura.

The chief guest, Nallu Indrasena Reddy said in his address that such a techno-cultural programme will help the participants to enhance their talent, build skills & teamwork, understand logical reasoning, etc.

He was happy to note that the ICARIA event has been one of the largest techno-cultural fests of North Eastern India among educational institutions over the years and it will receive greater heights by its name and fame.

Around 2,400 students from various Schools, Colleges and Universities will be participating in various Skills, Creative, Cultural & Technological competitions.

The event started with colorful cultural performances.

Later on, Artist Parmita Reang enthralled the audience with her popular playback songs.

The inaugural session came to an end with the ‘Vote of Thanks’ speech by Dr. A. Ranganath, the Registrar of the University.

It is to be noted here that on Friday, the famous Bollywood singer Arjuna Kanungo will be performing on the Celebrity night.

On Saturday Celebrity DJ — Progressive Brothers will perform after the Fashion Show.
