At a time, when the Education Department of Assam has been making assiduous efforts for raising the standard of education in various schools through-out the state, major allegations were revealed in Rangapara area for irregularities in attendance of  Teachers in schools of tea garden areas and who are often away.

Local people have raised their concern about such teachers to the Headmaster of the school, since the children are being deprived of proper education.

Nirmal Nayak, Social worker of Rangapara area said that many teachers have joined this profession in various tea gardens schools in Rangapara for their vested interests, no one has time to render their service faithfully and as a result the pupils are suffering.
