A day ahead of the NEET 2020, a total of 3 medical college aspirants in Tamil Nadu committed suicide on Saturday due to fear.

According to a media report, a Madurai-based girl, who was the daughter of a policeman, committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence on Saturday.

As to the reason for taking the extreme step, the girl’s father said in a note that she had prepared well for the exam but was scared of the result.

The girl requested not to blame anyone and conveyed her apologies to her parents for her decision to end her life.

The second incident of suicide took place at Dharmapuri where a boy snuffed out his own life.

In Namakkal district, another boy committed suicide by hanging himself.

With this, the number of suicides by medical college aspirants in Tamil Nadu has gone up to 4 in the last few days.

An aspiring medical student committed suicide over NEET 2020 fears on Wednesday.

Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister O. Panneerselvam in a tweet expressed his pain at the suicide incidents.

Panneerselvam said the students should develop the willpower to face challenges.

He also said the parents should also extend support to their children.
