Mizoram minister of school education, Lalchhandama Ralte, graced the state’s Students’ Day on Monday.
The programme was organized by Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), the state’s largest students’ organization, at Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall, Aizawl.

At the outset of his address, the minister highlighted the purposefulness of the event.
He went on to appraise the educational drives and initiatives taken up by the State Government.
He had reminded the gathering of the students at the programme that only those qualified and competent enough got the careers they wanted and succeed in their future career and that nothing is left for the mediocre.

On this important occasion, he also appealed to the students to strive forward with hard work and clear resolution to become the leaders in the near future.
He apprised the gathering that 881 vacant posts of teachers are being filled up recently to tone down the acute shortage teachers in the State.
The function was presided over by B Vanlaltana, vice president, MZP in the presence of a strong crowd of students.
L Ramdinliana Renthlei, president, MZP also addressed the students during this programme.
