Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kokrajhar felicitated young scientist Subashis Kar on Tuesday at the school premises in Kokrajhar in association with the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kokrajhar Alumni Association (JNVKAA).
Subashis Kar is also a former student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kokrajhar.
The principal of the school welcomed Kar with a traditional Aronai.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kokrajhar Alumni Association president and general secretary Dr Rajib Brahma and Jyoti Prasad Roy, respectively, also welcomed the young scientist with traditional Aronai and Gamosa.
Kar has been in news recently for his innovation of 3D voice calling.
During his interaction with the students of the school, Kar shared his experience of the innovation and explained how it would work and the importance of future technology.
The students of the school were impressed at the hard work and dedication of Kar towards his project.
Kar delivered a motivational speech before the students of the school and urged them to learn and be attentive in studies.
The principal of school in his speech wished him ‘good luck’ in his research work. Young scientist Kar will be doing his further research in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
