The members of Piramal Foundation and NITI Aayog on Friday organised a day-long programme at the conference hall of Zila Parishad in Dhubri.
In the programme the Government officials of Education Department explained about the indicators of the NITI Ayog.

Puravi Kowar, District Development Commissioner, Dhubri and Saju Kumar Jadav, Inspector of Schools-cum-District Mission Coordinators (DMC) inaugurated the session along with the Disrict Programme Officers of Education Department namely Abijit Chakraborty, Ranjan Das, Ajaharul Islam, Ganesh Prasad Shah, DPE Rofikul Haque and BEEOs of all six education blocks were present at the programme.
Tanima Narayan and Sadasiva Reddy, representatives from NITI Aayog gave a power-point presentation before the Education Department officials focusing on the indicators of the aspirational districts.
Tanima Narayan said that an action plan was prepared by the team where the dignitaries along with the members of NITI Aayog decided to launch a mass campaign (in the name of Jan Andolan) in the entire district focusing on the indicators of NITI Aayog aspirational districts, especially on student-learning outcome.

Notably, the NITI Aayog and Piramal Foundation recently entered into a partnership to work together for transforming 115 districts across the country including Dhubri that face multiple challenges on the fronts of education, health, employment and basic infrastructure, as informed by Tanima Narayan.
