Last week results of the HSLC exams were announced by the SEBA.

However, it needs to be mentioned that Education Minister Ranoj Pegu came under fire for creating confusion with contradictory social media posts regarding the announcement of HSLC exam results, allegedly misleading students, parents, and the public.

On Friday (April 19) at 9:35 pm, Minister Pegu shared a screenshot from a fan account (peguranoj) on X, claiming it to be fake.

The post from the fan account asserted that SEBA and AHSEC would declare HSLC and HS exam results on Saturday.

However, Pegu labelled it as false and clarified, “Some miscreants have been spreading rumours by creating fake shots of my X (Twitter) account… SEBA will announce the results as per its schedule.”

Nevertheless, the very next day the results were declared despite the minister claiming the reports to be false.
