After the immense success of ‘Utsav Bidhyarambh, the district administration of Assam’s Dhubri in collaboration with the education department and Piramal foundation is all set to run the Enrollment and Transition campaign once again under the umbrella of ‘Amar Vidhayalaya Amar Abhiman-2.0.
Ananta Lal Gyani,deputy commissioner of Dhubri on Tuesday conducted a meeting and officially launched the campaign.

The inaugural programme was attended by ADC, Dhubri Animesh Talukdar, inspector of schools, Sanju Kumar Yadav, programme manager of Piramal Foundation Udai Singh Chundawat and district programme officer Abhijet Chakroborty.
BEEOs, CRCCs of six educational blocks of the district along with 50 principals, fellow members of Piramal Foundation and Virtual Field support team were also present during the program held at the auditorium of district Library.
In the beginning the deputy commissioner appreciated all the stakeholders and shared the upcoming plans related to the campaign and other school processes such as library, building as learning aid, student parliament and accelerated learning programme with them.

Gyani has also emphasized on the Niti Aayog indicators and Delta ranking position with the stakeholders.
Notably, the Dhubri district has recently been ranked top among the five highest scoring aspirational district across the country followed by Baksa (Assam), Chandel (Manipur), Balangir (Odisha) and Rayagada of Odisha in Delta Ranking released in October 2019 by Niti Aayog.
The deputy commissioner also targeted to achieve 100 per cent transition rate and 70 per cent student learning outcome focusing on basic skills on mathematics and language in the district.
He also re-emphasized on free text book distribution and school management committee to take active participation in school activities.
The meeting also focused on the nine days activities of Utsav Vidyarambh campaign which will be begin from the first week of January.
In the new year a innovation on book bank is to be introduced in every school.
This initiative will help the schools to establish their school libraries as well.
