Arunachal: Ramakrishna Mission school students in Aalo come up trumps

The students of Ramakrishna Mission School (RKMS) at Aalo in Arunachal Pradesh have done exceptionally well in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII), the results of which were declared recently.

The RKMS has achieved a pass percentage of 99.05, an official press release stated.

Paramita Manna with 93.2 per cent, Jumi Tali with 92.6 per cent and Tersum Sora with 81.4 per cent topped the Science, Humanities and Commerce streams, respectively.

In the AISSE (Class X) examination, the school recorded a pass percentage of 96.70 in which Sanghamitra Jana with her overall percentage of 96 topped from the school.

Jana was closely followed by Karyum Lollen with 94 per cent and Omsubhra Singha in the second and third position, respectively.

The girls outperformed the boys in both the Class XII and X examinations of the school while a total of 26 students scored 75 per cent and above in several subjects.

Ramakrishna Mission School was established at Aalo in the year 1966.

Meanwhile, the management committee of the school recently distributed clothes to around 372 needy persons of Doji Jelly and Ngomdir villages as part of their relief work.

Swami Yogishwarananda Maharaj, Swami Ishananda Maharaj, Swami Uttaranananda Maharaj, Atul Maharaj and other members of the institution also interacted with the villagers of the two villages during the clothes distribution programme.
