A book on History of Education among the Bodos by Dr Satyendra Kr Sarmah ws released in Guwahati Press Club today. Guests present at the occasion were Pramud Ch Bhattachyarya, Taren Boro President, Assam Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Alok Adhikari.
The book provides a comprehensive account on the growth and development of education in both the colonial and post-colonial periods, among the Bodos of Assam. The book was published by NL Publications.

Dr Satyendra Kr Sarmah is an associate professor of Tangla college at present. He has several research oriented publications in different conference proceedings, journals, books etc. In 2010, he was provided Teacher Fellowship by the University Grants Commission.
