50 students from the state of Sikkim have been shortlisted for the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Scholarship Scheme (CMMSS), 2018.
The Scholarship is given to students to help them pursue higher education in top schools of the country.
The selection of the students is done with a test, where toppers of respective schools appear, from all four districts in Sikkim.
The exam was held by the state HRD Department on December, 2017.
The selection of the 50 meritorious students was made based on merit and roaster. Of the 50 selected, the top 10 would go on to continue their education in top schools outside the state.
Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya and Scindia School in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh; Shigally Hills International Academy of Dehradun; Delhi Public School in Dehradun and Aryan School in Dehradun and Pinegrove School in Himachal Pradesh are the institutes where the top 10 students will get a chance to attend.
