Rewaj Chettri

Sikkim entrepreneur Rewaj Chettri was recently featured in the Forbes India, ’30 under 30’ Asia list.

A serial entrepreneur from Turuk, South Sikkim, he studied forestry in college but went on to launch over 30 enterprises.

22-year-old Rewaj is the youngest son of Late Taraman Chettri and Dilu Chettri. He completed his basic schooling from Rockvale Academy, Kalimpong and Senior Secondary from Sadam Senior Secondary School, Sadam. He has completed his B.Sc in Forestry from the North-Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Arunachal Pradesh.

In its third year, the annual Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list features 300 young innovators across 10 categories who are re-inventing their industries and driving change across this diverse region.

Representing 24 countries across Asia-Pacific – including Azerbaijan and North Korea for the first time – the finalists were selected from thousands of online nominations.

With the highest number of honoree on this year’s 30 Under 30 Asia list — 65 in total — young Indians are storming the startup scene, excelling in a diverse array of occupations.

Rewaj is one of the selected honorees under the category of Consumer Technology.
