With Rongali Bihu just around the corner, Jet Airways will soon add Assamese delicacies like ‘laaru’ and ‘pitha’ to their in-flight menus, for all their flights operating from Guwahati.
The purpose of this is to add to the Bihu fervour and to give the people of Assam and other states a taste of the festival.
The dates for the availability of the delicacies are yet to be confirmed. Bihu special Assamese delicacies will have the opportunity to reach out to a larger audience is definitely a matter of pride.
