Customers of HDFC Bank on Saturday continued to face problem with net banking and mobile banking app for the sixth consecutive day.
While customers continued to complain, the HDFC Bank acknowledged the problem four days ago as technical glitch in the system. But the bank is still unable to resolve it.
“This is getting difficult for us,” a bank customer said, adding that no one in the bank is responding to their complaints.
The outage in HDFC Bank net banking and its mobile app started on December 2 where users faced issues with logging in and transacting money.
The HDFC Bank on Tuesday in a tweeter message had said, “We apologise that the resolution of the technical glitch is taking more time than anticipated. Our experts are working round the clock. While some customers are able to transact using NetBanking and MobileBanking App, a few may still be facing intermittent issues.”
Despite commitments by the HDFC Bank, the problem remained unresolved, the customers complained.
HDFC Bank is yet to give an update on the outage of its services, and is causing inconvenience to the millions of HDFC Bank customers.
Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has taken into account the problem, and one RBI team is reportedly investigating the reasons behind the outage.
During the last couple of months, HDFC Bank customers have been facing technical problems.
In November, HDFC Bank’s new mobile app crashed at its launch making users resort to the older version.
The bank had blamed heavy traffic as the reason behind the new mobile app crashing.
