Ambassador of Royal Thai Embassy attends Advantage Assam meet

“We see Assam as the biggest border trade and we aim to get Indian carriers,” stated H.E Mr Chuntintorn Gongsakdi, Ambassador, Royal Thai Embassy to India at an Advantage Assam meet today.

The Government of Assam, ahead of the Global Investors Summit in 2018 is trying to attract investors from all over the country and abroad, to the state. As a precursor to the main event, Roadshows  are being held at various domestic and international locations.

Road shows held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad Singapore, Toronto, New York, Tokyo have generated a positive response.  Kolkata, San Francisco, Seoul will also have road shows as part of Advantage Assam: Global Investors Summit to be hosted on February 3-4.

The summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and industrialists like Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani are set to attend the summit.

Around 2,000 industry leaders and representatives from India and abroad are set to attend. The chief minister has had one-to-one meetings with top industrialists, including Tata, Ambani, Adi Godrej, Kishore Biyani, Gautam Singhania, Harsh Mariwala and Subhash Chandra.
