Sikkim University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Associate-I in 2026 in the research project entitled “Laser driven surface nanopatterning and modulation of the wettability of plasmonic substrates for SERS based detection of vital nutrients and health markers” under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Ajay Tripathi, Department of Physics.

Remuneration :
(i) Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA to scholars selected through
(a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Gate, or
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions
(ii) Rs. 30,000/- per month + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
Qualification : M.Sc. Physics (at least 55% Marks). Candidates with handson experience in the
field of project and its applications will be preferred.
