National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Young Professional -I and a field assistant for the PPVFRA funded project “Establishment and Management of the Field Gene Bank (FGB) for maintenance of registered varieties” in 2026.
Name of post : Young Professional -I
Emoluments : Rs 30,000/-month (consolidated pay). No HRA is admissible
Essential Qualification : Bachelors’ degree in Agricultural and allied Sciences/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Agroforestry
Desirable: Experience on characterization and field evaluation of tree germplasm.
Age : 21 years to 45 years with relaxation as per Gol rules
Name of post : Field Assistant
Emoluments : Rs 25,000/-month (consolidated pay). No HRA is admissible
Essential Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with at least 1 year experience in handling field experiments in agricultural sciences or field evaluation of germplasm.
Age : 21 years to 45 years with relaxation as per Gol rules
