National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled “Design and Development of a Smart Fermentation Cabinet for Bamboo Shoot: Preserving Traditional Food Practices in Nagaland” in 2026.

Essential Educational Qualification:
M.E. / M. Tech / M.S. / M. Sc (Physics)/M.Sc (Electronics) or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Biotechnology/
Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation / Chemical Engineering / Computer Science/ IoT/ Embedded Systems / Automation-related branches, or any other closely related discipline from a recognized University/Institute with GATE / NET score. Candidate must have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 in UG and PG Degree.
Desirable: Basic knowledge about sensor interfacing.
Pay Scale : Rs 37,000/- per month + 10 % HRA
