Mizoram University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in the Department of Sociology in 2026.

Qualification :
Candidates should have academic career with M.A. in Sociology from recognised University and UGC-NET qualifications (Mandatory). Candidates having Passed MA in correspondence courses and those without NET qualification need not apply.

Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 23rd July 2026. Document verification is at 10:30 AM and time of interview is 11 AM. Venue is in Mizoram University, Aizawl, Mizoram
How to apply :
The intending candidates must send one page signed CV and a photocopy of the MA
Certificate, Transcript and UGC NET Qualification certificate two days before the commencement of walk-in-Interview via email to [email protected]
The intending candidates must bring all original certificates and mark-sheets from Class X onwards for verification; and a set of photo copies of all these documents etc for submission without which they won’t get to attend the Interview.
