Mizoram University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty for its Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program with specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning under self-financing mode in 2026. In this connection, the Department is looking for qualified candidates to preferably get engagement as UGC Guest Faculty on purely contract basis. However, the board has the right to engage MZU Guest Faculty if suitable candidates are not found for UGC Guest Faculty.

Eligibility Criteria :
1. For UGC Guest Faculty : A Master Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or
equivalent with at least 55% (or equivalent grade), 5% relaxation in marks in case of SC/ST candidates, and the candidates should have a NET/SLET/SET or hold a valid Ph.D as recognised by UGC.
2. For MZU Guest Faculty : A Master Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or equivalent with atleast 55% (or equivalent grade), 5% relaxation m marks in case SC/ST
candidates.
Remuneration :
1. For UGC Guest Faculty : Rs. 1500/- per lecture and capped at Rs. 50,000/- per month
2. For MZU Guest Faculty : Rs. 1300/- per lecture and capped at Rs. 36,000/- per month
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 6th February, 2026 at 11:30 AM in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science, Mizoram University. Reporting time is 11 AM
