National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in various disciplines in 2026.

Discipline wise vacancies :
1. Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering) : 3
2. Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization: C, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Computer Organization, Web Design Using JavaScript, Database Management Systems, Image Processing, Blockchain technologies) : 2
3. Electronics & Communication Engineering (Sensors and Instrumentation): 1
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted)
Remuneration :
The selected candidate may be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 65,000/- per month or as per the institute rule. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, allowances are applicable. No pension/gratuity etc. is applicable. Free hostel accommodation on a shared basis will be provided, if required.
