College of Agriculture Kyrdemkulai Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Associate I (PA-I) under the
project entitled “Enhancing drought and heat stress resilience in direct-seeded rice through
root and stomatal trait- based genomic approaches” funded by Anusandhan National
Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Advanced Research Grant (ARG) Programme in 2026.

Qualification :
Essential:
1. Post Graduate in Plant Physiology/Molecular biology/ Botany/Genetics and Plant Breeding
Desirable:
1. Minimum experience in physiological, biochemical and molecular analysis
2. Good Communication skill, better writing skill along with competency in MS applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Experience in collecting, compiling and analysis of primary and secondary data and writing of report.
4. Two wheeler is must.
Salary : Rs. 31000/- plus HRA per month
