North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Nurse on a contract basis in a research project: “Centre for Advanced Research in Hypertensive Disorders in Pregnancy”, funded by ICMR, New Delhi in 2026.

Minimum Essential Qualification :
1. Three-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course
2. Good Command of Khasi &English: Speaking, reading, and writing
Desirable Experience :
1. Prior experience in supervising data collection and coordinating multi-site projects.
2. Prior experience in Maternal Child health projects
3. Good writing and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of computer software for data collection, documentation, data entry, cleaning,
analysis, and transcription.
5. Trained in Research Methodology and skills in conducting training programs
Job Roles :
- To liaise with investigators and attend project coordination meetings, as and when necessary
- Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day progress in the site, including recruitment, monitoring and echocardiography
- To recruit, consent, and interview volunteering patients to collect data for the study
- Coordinate the follow-up visits of the participants.
- To coordinate data entry and management in the prescribed software
- Perform the data entry daily with PTS II to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Coordinates the outcome assessment and the smooth implementation of the project
Monthly Pay : Rs. 20000/- + HRA 10%
Maximum Age Limit : 28 years
