National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Staff in the project entitled “Size polydisperse model Ionic liquids : Effect of ion-size- polydispersity on the equilibrium / non-equilibrium behaviour and Nanotribology” in 2026.

Essential Qualification : MSc in Physics or equivalent from any recognised University/ Institute.

Desired Experience :
- Fundamental knowledge of electrodynamics, electrolyte theory, ionic liquids basics.
- Good programming skills in FORTRAN/C/Ct/Python.
- Knowledge of Molecular Dynamics simulations / LAMMPS
Salary : Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable)
