Eligibility Criteria :
i. Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences.
ii. 10 years of experience in the relevant subject, out of which 8 years should be as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in PB-3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/Rs.6,000/ Rs.7,000/Rs.8,000/- and 2 years as Associate Professor/ Senior Scientist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/9000/- (pre-revised).
iii. The candidate should have made contribution in Research/Teaching/Extension Education as evidenced by minimum 10 publications with high NAAS Impact Factor.
iv. Recognized veterinary qualification included in first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act: 1984 and must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/ Veterinary Council of India.
v. B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale.
vi. Master’s degrees in relevant discipline of Veterinary Science with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale

Eligibility Criteria :
Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55%
marks or equivalent grade point. Evidence of having cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR, ASRB, UGC, CSIR. (NET shall not be required in disciplines for which NET is not conducted)
Or
Ph. D in the relevant subject with published Research papers in scientific journals.
