Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Assistant Commandants in 2026.
Name of post : Assistant Commandant (Engineer)
No. of posts : 6
Pay : Level-10 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 56100—177500 (as per 7th CPC).
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University or
Institute.
Age Limit :
Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation is also available to the different categories of eligible candidates as per Govt. instructions

The candidates belonging to UR/EWS/OBC category applying for the post of Assistant Commandant (Engineer) should pay Rs. 400/- (Four hundred rupees only) through online payment gateway system on www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. Candidate belonging to SC/ST, Ex. Servicemen category and female candidates are exempted from examination fee.
