Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Head Constables in 2026.
Name of post : Head Constable (Mechanic)
No. of posts : 21
Pay Scale : Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 25,500 – 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).
Eligibility Criteria :
i) 10+2 pass from a recognised Board or Institution.
ii) Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognised Institution or Industrial Training Institute with three years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or three year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
Age Limit : Between 18 and 25 years
Name of post : Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor)
No. of posts : 16
Pay Scale : Level – 4 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 25,500 – 81,100 (as per 7th CPC).
Eligibility Criteria :
Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject
or;
Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.
Age Limit : Between 20 to 25 years.
