North Eastern Regional Institute of Water and Land Management (NERIWALM), Tezpur, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Young Professional (Project) in 2026 for the project on “Dong Water Management Practices of Bodo Community of BTC Area in Assam.”

Qualification :
1. Master’s Degree (M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc./MA) in Water Resources Engineering, Water Resources Management, Civil Engineering (with specialization in Water Resources, Hydraulics or Irrigation),
Environmental Science, Social Science (Sociology/Social Works/Political Science/Economics/ Geography), Geo informatics from a recognized University/Institute, with a consistently good academic record.
2. A minimum of six (06) months of work experience in relevant fields.
Desirable :
1. Experience in water resources management, irrigation systems, hydraulic structures, watershed management or related fields.
2. Experience in socio-economic surveys, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), community-based water management, institutional assessment or livelihood studies.
3. Knowledge of GIS, remote sensing, field data collection and spatial analysis.
4. Familiarity with environmental assessment, water quality assessment and relevant standards.
5. Good report-writing, data analysis and documentation skills.
6. Ability to undertake field visits and interact with community institutions and stakeholders.
Age Limit : Should be between 21–35 years as on the last date of submission of application
Remuneration : Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand) only per month
