National Health Mission (NHM), Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 2204 vacant positions or govt job of Staff Nurses willing to work in mission mode for engagement on contractual basis in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
B. Sc. Nursing/ GNM Course passed from any nursing school / institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council and registered with “Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council”.
Age Limit :
Up to 40 years as on 01/01/2026 (Relaxation in maximum age : SC/ST candidates – 5 years, OBC/ MOBC candidates – 3 years, PWD candidates – 10 years)
Salary : Rs. 20,000/- per month
