The Office of District Legal Services Authority, Golaghat, under Golaghat Judiciary Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Driver and Office Assistant in 2026.
Name of post : Driver (Fixed Pay)

Eligibility Criteria :
i. Minimum educational qualification for the post is VIII (eight) passed.
ii. The candidate must possess a valid driving license (LMV).
iii. The candidate should have the knowledge of Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese).
Salary : Rs. 15000/- per month
Age Limit : The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age
as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. norms for reserved categories.
Selection Procedure :
Stage 1 : Driving test of 50 (Fifty) Marks.
Stage 2 : Interview/viva-voce of 50 (Fifty) Marks.

Eligibility Criteria :
1. Graduation.
2. Basic word processing skills and the ability to operate computer and skills to feed data.
3. Good typing speed with proper setting of petition.
4. Ability to take dictation and prepare files for presentation in the Courts.
5. File maintenance and processing knowledge
Salary : Rs. 18000/- per month
Age Limit :
Minimum : 21 years. Maximum: 40 years as on date of advertisement. Age Relaxation as per Govt. Rule
Selection Procedure : Interview followed by Computer skill test.

Applications sent through post super scribed as “Application for the Post of Driver (Contractual).” Candidates may also drop their applications in the “Drop Box for the post of Driver (Contractual)” to be kept at the premise of Office of the District Legal Services Authority, Golaghat. Last date for receipt of applications is 23rd April 2026
For the post of Office Assistant, candidates must appear for a Walk-in-Interview on 30th April, 2o26. Time of interview is at 3 PM. The registration process for the walk-in-Interview will start at 10.30 AM till 2 PM. Venue is in the Office of the District Legal services Authority, Golaghat, 1st floor of District Judicial Courts & Offices, Golaghat. To appear in the walk in Interview, the candidates will have to bring their applications along with self-certified/ attested copies of relevant documents.
