Gauhati University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates in 2026 for recruitment to the govt job of Project Technical support-II in the ICMR project entitled “Screening and Functional analysis of ALDHIL2 (rs 199841702) and PNPLA3 (rs738409) germline variants in different cohorts of chronic liver disease cases” under the supervision of Dr. Subhash Medhi, P.I., Department of Bioengineering and Technology.

Essential Qualification :
MSc / BSc (Life Sciences), 12th Science +Diploma (Medical Laboratory Technology) + Five Years Experience in relevant subject /field.
Desirable BSc MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology). One year Experience in the collection and handling of biological sample along with experience in performing biochemical test and
serological assays. Working Knowledge of Computer application and performing data entry
Job Roles :
1. To carry and assist in field work and laboratory work.
2. Perform collection and handling of biological samples
3. Ensure timely generation of test reports, maintain inventory / log books / Sops/ other

Salary : Rs. 24,000/- per month
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on last date of application
