The Office of District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Majuli Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Case Worker, Counsellor, Office Assistant, Multi-Purpose Worker and Security Guard in 2026.
Name of post : Case Worker
No. of posts : 2
Qualification :
The case worker should be women, a resident of the local community and possess the
following basic qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in law/social work/sociology/social science/Psychology
Experience :
Minimum 3 years of experience of working on women related relevant domains in a government or non-government projects/programme. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
Salary : Rs. 25,000/- per month
Name of post : Counsellor
No. of posts : 1
Qualification :
The counsellor should be a women, a resident of the local community and possess the following basic qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Psychology/Psychiatry/ neurosciences with a background in the health sector/Social Work/Sociology/.
Experience :
Minimum 3 years of experience of working with a government or non-government health
project/programme at the District level. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
Salary : Rs. 25,000/- per month
Name of post : Office Assistant

Qualification : Office assistant, preferably ? women having Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Computer/IT etc.
Experience :
Having 3 years’ experience in office documentation and web based reporting formats, video
conferencing at state or district level with government or nongovernmental/IT based organization.
Salary : Rs. 20,000/- per month
Name of post : Multi Purpose Worker
No. of posts : 1
Qualification : MPW, should be a women. High school passed or equivalent will be preferred.
Experience : Any women who is literate with knowledge/experience of working in the relevant domain. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
Salary : Rs. 14,000/- per month
Name of post : Security Guard
No. of posts : 2
Qualification : HSLC passed.
Experience : Any person minimum 2 years of experience of working as a security personnel in a government or reputed organization at the District/State level. Preference will be given to
retired military/paramilitary personnel also the applicant should be resident of Majuli
District.
Salary : Rs. 12,000/- per month
