Assam Agricultural University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Junior Research Fellow and Scientific and Administrative Assistant in the project entitled “Development of mild strain cross protected khasi mandarin
planting material for management of citrus decline caused by citrus tristeza virus in Northeast India” in 2026.

Qualification : Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent
Monthly Emoluments :
(i) Rs. 37,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGCNET or (b) A selection process through national level examinations conducted by
Central Government departments and their agencies and institutions.
(ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
