Educational Qualification:
Candidate must secure at least 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade Point Scale) at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned subject and must clear the NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR. Candidates who have got Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided for SC/ST/PWD candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph.D holders, who have obtained their Master Degree prior to 19.09.1991 (As per Govt. O.M.No. AHE. 407/ 2017/44 dated 08-11-2018). Candidates have to acquire qualification as on the last date of the submission of application. Eligibility like M.Phil./ Ph.D. / Publications be acquired and submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.
Salary: UGC scale of pay (Academic level 10) and other allowances as per rule.
Age: The age of the candidate should not exceed 38 years as on 01.01.2026 and relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
