Assam Inland Water Transport Development (AIWTD) Society Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Project Officer, Environment Specialist, Social Development Specialist, Assistant Project Managers in 2026.
Name of post : Project Officer
No. of posts : 1
Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelor degree from Govt recognised university/ institution. Minimum 25 years’ experience in Partnership management with service providers both public and private, coordinating relationship with project stakeholders as well as external resource agencies
Remuneration :
Indicative consolidated remuneration will be in the range between Rs. 1,50,000/- to Rs. 1,60,000/- per month or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less. Depending on qualification, experience and competency of the candidate, the salary is negotiable. Exact remuneration payable will be determined asper HRPolicy of AIWTDS which is being finalised.
Name of post : Environment Specialist

Eligibility Criteria :
Master/ Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Planning/ Environmental Engineering /
Environmental Sciences or relevant disciplines. Minimum 10 years of experience in conducting EIA, environment modelling and preparing Environment Management plans
Remuneration :
The monthly fixed remuneration shall be between Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month
depending on qualification, experience, and competency of the candidate or 30% hike on the
existing remuneration whichever is less.
Name of post : Social Development Specialist

Eligibility Criteria :
Masters/ Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences relevant discipline e.g. Social work / Sociology / Anthropology. Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in the field of social development including SIA, Land Acquisition, Resettlement, undertaking stakeholder consultation, conducting/facilitating socio-economic surveys, undertaking social impact assessments and preparation of Resettlement Action Plans, Indigenous Peoples Development Plans in accordance with World Bank’s requirements. S/he should have worked on at least two (2) infrastructure projects in any World Bank/ADB funded projects/Externally Aided Projects or similar Govt. of India funded projects/National level reputed projects.
Remuneration : The monthly remuneration would be between Rs 1,20,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000 or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less . Depending on qualification, experience and competency of the candidate, the remuneration is negotiable.
Name of post : Assistant Project Manager-Terminal

Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering. Master’s degree and advanced construction management/ post graduate diploma in construction management will be preferred. Minimum 8 years experience of which majority of experience in project management of large-scale transport infrastructure projects.
Remuneration :
The monthly fixed remuneration shall be between Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month
or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less.
Name of post : Procurement Management Assistant

Eligibility Criteria :
Graduate (from a Govt. recognized University) in any discipline. Post Graduate in MBA (from a Govt. recognized University) will be preferred. In-depth knowledge and understanding of procurement guidelines and procedures with working experience of minimum two (2) years in reputed projects. Experience in supporting procurement related activities in any World Bank funded projects/ externally aided projects or similar Govt. of India funded projects/ National level reputed projects will be preferred.
Remuneration :
Consolidated Remuneration will be depending on qualification, experience, and competency of the candidate. Remuneration payable will be determined asper HR Policy of AIWTDS.
Name of post : Finance Management Assistant

Eligibility Criteria :
Commerce Graduate/ Post Graduate (from a Govt. recognized University). In-depth knowledge of financial management procedures applicable for World Bank funded projects and having hands on experience of operating Tally accounting software, along with minimum 2 (two) years of experience in financial management related activities in any World Bank funded projects/ Externally aided projects or similar Govt. of India funded projects/ National level reputed projects.
Remuneration :
Consolidated Remuneration will be depending on qualification, experience, and competency of the candidate. Remuneration payable will be determined as per HR Policy of AIWTDS.
